Bob Dylan has wrecked The Who's big day by announcing an forthcoming North
American arena tour with former Dire Straits leader Mark Knopfler hours
after the British rockers staged a phone-in press conference to launch
their own 36-date trek.
Dylan's month-long autumn tour will even coincide with The Who's dates in November.
The folk rock legend will open his dates in Winnipeg, Manitoba on 5 October and wrap up the tour in New York on 11 November.
The trek marks the first time Dylan has headlined an arena tour since 2006.
